The Cell Church is proud and grateful to the Lord as we celebrate the graduation of our first TUMI (The Urban Ministry Institute) student at Arkansas Valley Correctional Facility! Theodor (Paco) Castillo recently completed the TUMI Capstone Curriculum and earned his Certificate in Christian Leadership Studies.
Brother Paco's class was heavily disrupted by the pandemic, and many of his fellow students were released or transferred before they were able to complete the program. Because of those delays, the curriculum took seven years rather than the typical four. Paco faithfully completed his assignments, and successfully finished with a 3.96 GPA. He continues to help lead the TUMI class at AVCF and mentor other students.
We are working with the AVCF administration to hold a graduation ceremony for Paco in the near future. Thanks to all our generous supporters who make stories like Paco's possible!
