Our ministry leadership just had the wonderful opportunity to attend this year’s Correctional Ministries and Chaplains Association (CMCA) conference on the campus of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Not only did we get the chance to tour New Orleans and the seminary campus, we also spent time networking with prison chaplains and other prison ministries around the country. Some of these ministries are being led by gifted former prisoners with a similar vision for developing prisoners as church leaders.

We attended multiple workshops on topics including “Creating a Culture of Discipleship and Multiplication” and “From Lived Experience to Leaders,” and enjoyed a number of helpful and encouraging plenary sessions. We are grateful for your faithful support that enables us to become better equipped to serve current and former prisoners through events like CMCA!
