Under the Covers: A Message of Hope by J. L. Matthews is a book "for those who want to be free from porn, buying sex, and abuse." It contains a collection of very personal essays on subjects ranging from pornography addiction, to prostitution and sex trafficking, to childhood sexual abuse and other sexual crimes. Men and women, those who have perpetrated and those who have been victimized, addicts and their loved ones - all share stories about the pain and damage caused by sexual sin, and the hope for healing and restoration found in the gospel of Jesus.

Gary Hardy is a friend of The Cell Church who is pursuing his PhD in Christian Leadership and Biblical Counseling. Mr. Hardy is serving prison time in Arizona for a sexual offense, and contributed a chapter about his own experience.
