The Cell Church attended the TUMI Summit in Wichita February 14-16, 2014. What an amazing event! Site coordinators from around the world attended, and we met a lot of wonderful people who are administering TUMI sites in prisons, homeless shelters, and inner cities everywhere.

The most striking feature for me was that the vision of TUMI and its parent ministry, World Impact, was so perfectly aligned with the mission of The Cell Church. While we focus specifically on prisoners, World Impact seeks to equip the urban poor of all types (including prisoners) to be ministers and church planters unleashed in the inner cities.

Although we still have a number of details to work out, we returned with the clear impression that TUMI is excited to begin working with The Cell Church to start a TUMI Satellite in a prison here in Colorado! We are looking forward to seeing what the Lord will do through this ministry partnership. Thanks to all who were praying for us! The Lord answered your prayers in ways that I can't even describe.
